At least in Blender - exporting the alembic data in 24 fps, importing in 24fps and exporting back to Blender in 24fps still does not sync correctly.
WebYour best solution is to spend little/no time setting up materials in maya beyond what you need to animate. Then in Blender you create a base file that has all of your materials pre made and tuned the way you like them. Then you import your allembic and just do material assignments once. WebJan 12, 2024 · So here is the workaround for this: 1) select the mesh. 2) use "Export Selection" Command. 3) export it as "OBJexport" (make sure that you have the "objexport.Bundle" activated in the Plugin Manager) 4) reimport into new Maya scene. 5) export FBX again. I hope this helps!
