Energy's sub simply does not meet it. the encore's sub is pretty impressive though. but they're expensive and only comes in 8 inches..
WebMar 15, 2024 · It's an Energy S8.2 that appears to be from 2002. Over the past week, I've been hearing what I've been told is a 60 Hz hum. I tried unplugging everything to the AVR, still hums. WebApr 8, 2007 · After spending some time to properly calibrate it, I'm very happy with the 10.2. Since I have pretty small speakers I set the crossover point on my receiver at 100 hz. The 10.2 responds quite well in the upper and mid bass range, so it blends in very well with my smallish bookshelf speakers. Bass extension gets down to about 22-23 hz.
