WebbI searched and searched and found a 'backup' folder, it was located under Appdata\Local\Microsoft\OneNote. In there I found a folder called "16.0". In that folder I found two locations, "Backup" and "cache"....I'm guessing this is where I can recover some of my stuff? When I click into cache, I see a bunch of .bin files that I can't do anything ... WebbYou can reduce (or eliminate) the size of the BACKUP folder only by setting the "Number of backup copies" option to 0. Go to File > Options > Save & Backup to find the option.. OneNote has to locally cache your online notebooks, but it also makes these backup copies so you can recover data in case of a big sync problem.
