At après, it's a rite of passage, on those not-so-great days, to get "first tracks" at the bar at 11am. WebMy tired legs lift me for one last effort of the day, as I twirl away to the happy hour music with my mustard and plum plaid scarf streaking across the room. It is already dark outside; night comes early in winter in Vermont, but the evening is just getting started at my favorite après-ski gathering spot, the Roost.

WebMar 30, 2024 · I don't think we had visibility problems or crowds the week of the Gathering there. I know we were lucky (no rain and fresh snow too), but it was awesome. Ski resorts are not supposed to be shiny!
